Jury trial on civil cases

high-profile-cases-jury-trialLcdo. Alfredo Castellanos makes history, gaining the support of judges from the Court of First Instance to recognize Puerto Ricans with their right as U.S. citizens to have a jury trial on civil cases. This decision is based on the fourteenth amendment of the Constitution of the United States that guarantees equal legal protection. Mr. Castellanos has several cases pending admission to jury trial, including Pastor Ricky Torres and Pastor Wanda Rolón, whom are suing Telemundo and Univision. Another case claiming to be processed with jury trial is of Myrta Perez, owner of Pasión Por El Fogón, in a labor dispute of discrimination.
